Dr. Katherine Bruce was born and raised in Lancaster, Ohio. She graduated from Fisher Catholic High School, where she was very active in the local Catholic community and sports programs. Dr. Bruce continued her education at the University of Dayton, receiving her first bachelor of science degree. She completed her education at Logan University, receiving her doctorate degree. While attending Logan College of Chiropractic, Dr. Bruce completed over 1,000 hours of clinical experience. She studied various chiropractic techniques, including diversified, Logan Basic, Gonstead, activator, and instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization. Dr. Bruce also volunteered at local health centers for the less fortunate, where she offered chiropractic care for low-income patients. She also assisted in the co-management for patients in an Adult Inpatient Rehabilitation Center. Dr. Bruce married her husband Justin in 2013. They welcomed their first child, Carter, in October.Bruce Chiropractic was established March 1, 2016 in Lancaster, Ohio.

Bruce Chiropractic is Lancaster's choice for Pediatric and Pregnancy Chiropractic Care. Dr. Kate is certified in Webster Technique for pregnant women. The Webster technique is a specific chiropractic analysis and adjustment. The goal of the adjustment is to reduce the effects of sacral subluxation and or sacro-iliac joint dysfunction. In so doing neuro-biomechanical function in the pelvis is improved. Dr. Kate uses a cutting edge tool called a Class IV Laser. The Class IV laser functions by bringing more oxygen and energy to the site of injury, which allows the damaged cells to function at a higher level. These effects are normal, everyday functions that occur in your body; the Class IV laser just encourages the process, allowing healing to occur more efficiently. Also, studies have shown that laser light is absorbed by healthy tissue but does not trigger a reaction. This is a great tool for muscle and joint issues.
