Having suffered various neck, shoulder and back injuries, I spent many years living with chronic pain, trying everything from medical to alternative treatments, most which provided helpful but temporary relief at best. Then several years ago, I discovered Bowen Therapy, a simple treatment so profound in its ability to restore comfort, mobility and function in some of the most hard-set of conditions. After 22 long (often painful) years living with a frozen shoulder, being able to once again serve a tennis ball and swim backstroke without pain was nothing short of miraculous. My experience not only made me a believer, but also a Bowen Champion! My newfound freedom also sparked a yearning to help others suffering from chronic injuries and pain, and led me to leave a 20-year medical sales career to study, practice and share Bowen therapy with those still looking for meaningful relief.At Bowenwork Hawaii you receive individualized care and treatment based on your injury and pain history. Your input is valued, respected and vital to achieving desired results. Postural assessments help guide your therapy and take-home exercises support your progress to goal.
