Bob Holzman has been a full-time massage therapist since 1999. As a life-long athlete, Bob quickly gravitated toward specializing in orthopedic and sports massage. Throughout the span of his career, he has consistently worked with professional, elite and recreational athletes, dancers and performing artists. He has worked for Cirque du Soleil's Amaluna and KURIOS in Seattle, WA and has traveled the country with the National tour of the Broadway show SWING! Currently, Bob is a sports massage therapist for the West Point Army football team. In addition to working with athletes and performing artists, he works with individuals who have chronic and acute pain, as well as those recovering from physical trauma and orthopedic surgery. His work centers on addressing the cause of pain rather than the symptoms alone, therefore increasing the likelihood of long-term benefits from the massage.Bob has been a full-time NY licensed massage therapist since 1999. After working in New Paltz and NYC from 1999 to 2009, Bob and his wife moved to the Pacific North West. For six years, he worked in two different massage clinics that received 95% of their patients via Dr. and PT referrals, for acute and chronic pain management as well as rehab. In the summer of 2015, they moved back to New Paltz to offer wold class massage to the Hudson Valley.
