Bryn McCamley, LMT and Laureen Sutton, LMT have owned Ashland Institute of Massage since 2012. Both graduates of AIM at different intervals as well as long-time instructors, they have taken AIM to new levels of competence, integrity, and fun! Their heart-centered approach to each student's path leads the way for each to achieve success in a fully supportive environment. Bryn and Laureen continue to teach and maintain private practices."Founded in 1988, Ashland Institute of Massage is one of the premier massage schools in Oregon. Our school has maintained longevity and consistent standards of excellence by keeping current with the trends of the industry. AIM graduates scored at the top of state levels every year during the reign of the Practical Exam by the Oregon Board of Massage Therapists. Our curriculum continues to reflect advancing awareness of the marvels of the human body while keeping a solid foundation of bodywork and interpersonal skills woven throughout.

Today I was a new member with Chrysalis. I called various other massage businesses in Ashland, and Chrysalis' fees were the most reasonable. The facility was clean and pleasant, and I was greeted by Roseann Orr, my massage therapist, upon my arrival. After completing a questionnaire, I was given a very relaxing and therapeutic massage in a pleasant room. I found Roseann to be friendly, professional, and intuitive. I would highly recommend Chrysalis if you desire a relaxing massage for a reasonable rate.

This was my first visit to Chrysalis Massage and my first massage in a year. I had quite a few "issues" to be worked on, and Roseann, my massage thereapist, listened to my needs and suited the treatment to best suit my body's well being. The pressure was medium which helped to move and release the tension I had in certain areas. Communication was minimal so I can relax during the massage. I will probably feel a bit sore the next day, but that is on me and not on the therapist since I haven't had any body work done in a year. Drink LOTS of water before and after any massage treatment to flush out toxins, etc. I will be back and I do recommend AIM for any bodywork treatments.
