In December 2003, AOC took occupancy in The Orthopaedic Center at Springhill, located on 100 South Beltline Hwy in Mobile (address later changed to 3610 Springhill Memorial Dr N). The Center is a 78,000 square-foot building, with a state-of-the-art orthopaedic specialty surgery center, physical therapy and MRI diagnostic procedures. The surgery center was a joint venture of physicians of Alabama Orthopaedic Clinic, P.C. and Springhill Medical Complex, Inc. The new facility allowed patients the convenience of having all of their orthopaedic care in one location. At the time, The Center was monumental for the Mobile community because it had the distinction of being the only orthopaedic medical facility of its kind on the entire Gulf Coast. In 2010, AOC opened a satellite location on campus at Mobile Infirmary Medical Center. Several AOC physicians also travel to rural areas of Chatom and Jackson, AL to provide orthopaedic medical services to those areas.
