He enjoys working with orthopedic and sports populations across all age ranges, and prefers a whole body, hands-on manual approach using innovative techniques. He has certifications in Graston and Dry Needling. He believes that manual therapy and exercise play a vital role in the rehab process, while making sure to incorporate patient collaborated care plans. ​ As a previous collegiate baseball player, he has a strong interest in return to sport rehab with overall injury prevention. Experiences on and off the field taught him the importance of self-discipline and perseverance in achieving goals and rehabilitation. He stresses patient education from day one so that his patients may gain a deeper understanding of how their body works and ultimately develop the self-management techniques necessary for avoiding re-injury. Mike Bruszer PT, DPT is a Doctor of Physical Therapy with 9 yrs of outpatient orthopedic experience. Mike earned his Bachelor of Psychology from the University of Illinois at Chicago while on a scholarship to play baseball there and then completed his Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Illinois of Chicago in 2014.
