À propos
Dr. Zehr has dedicated his professional education and career to the research, understanding, and care of some of the most complex orthopaedic problems in the field, including primary and revision total joint replacement, as well as skeletal reconstruction associated with tumors. In addition, his mastery of minimally invasive surgical techniques, rapid recovery rehab protocols, and shortened hospital stays has resulted in greatly improved surgical outcomes, fewer complications, and highly satisfied patients. Over the years, Dr. Zehr has seen many health care systems, surgical procedures, and hospital programs from which he has synthesized the best practices into what is arguably the finest way to provide modern orthopaedic joint surgery. The Zehr Center was founded to provide world-class orthopedic care...because living with pain isn't really living!Following a prestigious fellowship in orthopaedic oncology at the University of Florida and his residency training at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Dr. Zehr joined its staff as Head of Orthopaedic Oncology. In 1998 he was selected to help develop the Cleveland Clinic Naples, where he served as Executive Director, Chief of Staff, and Head of Orthopaedic Surgery, while maintaining a full and thriving surgical practice. When the Cleveland Clinic abruptly departed from Naples in 2007, Dr. Zehr opened his solo orthopaedic practice. His highly successful joint replacement practice has positioned him as a high volume hip and knee replacement surgeon in Southwest Florida and the leader in outpatient joint replacement surgery through Seaside Surgery Center.
