Thank you for showing interest in our holistic approach to health care! I created truHealth to provide an alternative health care choice which is consistent with how nature works and how nature heals! Credentials: Graduate School: Life Chiropractic College West, Hayward, CA: Doctor of Chiropractic, cum laude 2009 Undergraduate Schools: Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, CA: BS Biochemistry 2003 I was elected to "Who's Who Among Students in American Universities & Colleges" in both undergraduate and graduate schools. As a student intern in Chiropractic College, the clinic staff asked me to participate in the Clinic Intern Case Presentation Seminar. This honor is given to only two senior interns per quarter that have demonstrated excellence in clinical practice. I participated in a preceptor program at The Institute of Advanced Care in Chiropractic. This is a separate clinical entity within the student clinic which offered advanced training in upper cervical chiropractic techniques.I created truHealth Specific Chiropractic Studio in 2010 to provide an alternative health care choice which is consistent with how nature works and how nature heals! TruHealth is in its third and final location nestled by a beautiful creek on the southern side of San Luis Obispo. Clients love the view as they receive holistic treatments in our beautiful and calming studio space!

I’ve been seeing chiropractors in SLO county since I moved here in 2017. Dr.Vasquez has been the only one who has ever helped me with my severe neck pain. He is extremely thorough & has given me the best neck adjustments I’ve ever had without being too aggressive. I highly recommend him to anyone who is in pain!

I was in a car accident in 2022- I had a tbi and whip lash injuries affecting atlas and c2- I went to brain injury rehab and many neck and spine specialists before finding Dr David Vasquez- almost 2 years after the accident I finally started getting lasting relief from his treatment. I have less migraines, less vertigo, I have been able to enjoy my horses again and start recovering in other ways too. Before finding TruHealth Chiropractic I was relapsing from the brain injury and neck ALL the time. For those struggling with an injury or other health problems related to neck/spine/atlas- I know it’s hard to find doctors that care and listen. Something that stands out to me about Dr. Vasquez is he is curious, smart and looking for answers- he took my individual complaints into consideration, repeated x-rays when needed and has amazing technology to show changes that are being made. It has been a hard road to recovery but I literally couldn’t even participate in physical therapy for my head injury until my atlas was adjusted appropriately- he also was not the first atlas specialist I saw- I was in care under another atlas specialist for almost a year with some relief at times but my atlas continued to come out of alignment until Dr.Vasquez stepped in.

I had a terrible neck pain, limited range of movement, chronic pain from playing high school football and I needed a neck specialist. I came to David with all these issues after seeing a general chiro and not improving much. His office has an X-ray machine, so he did a relatively quick work up and showed me how tilted my neck was. After four sessions I was fully recovered and never felt better. Highly recommend!
