About

David graduated from UVM with a Masters in Physical Therapy in 2004. Since graduating he has continued to improve his manual therapy skills through numerous continuing education courses., including Functional Mobilization, Muscle Energy Technique, McKenzie Method of treating the Spine, Postural Restoration, and others. In August 2009, David completed his certification with The Institute of Physical Art becoming a Certified Functional Manual Therapist. David currently serves as a brilliant mentor to new graduates assisting with the transition from student to professional. Prior to becoming a physical therapist, David worked at Cardio Style, a cardiac rehab clinic in Tel Aviv, Israel. His experience includes treating acute injuries, sport injuries, chronic pain, post-operative care, and geriatrics. In his spare time he is an avid cyclist, snowboarder, hockey player, as well as enjoys flying as a private pilot.

We are Certified Functional Manual Therapists. Our therapists are all educated in manual therapy techniques where the emphasis is placed on complete hands on approach toward both evaluating AND treating the physical dysfunctions that may arise from various injuries. With 10+ years of experience with a vast variety of the orthopedic population has given us the opportunity to treat a wide range of people from elite athletes (ACL Tears, Rotator Cuff Tears, Shoulder and Hip Labral Tears, Trauma to the spine, and more), to the average 9-5 employee with chronic pain (Lumbar or Cervical Disc Herniation, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, and more), as well as the older population (Total Hip or Total Knee Replacements, Degenerative Disc Disease, Arthritis, and more). The most unique aspect of our practice is that we emphasize teaching every patient how to treat themselves! Whether the self treatment approach is with a pain relieving modality, a specialized exercise routine, or a specific manual therapy technique within their capacity, we make every attempt to help the patient help themselves by learning why the problem came about and how to 'self' enhance the healing process altogether. This significantly decreases the total number of overall treatment sessions thus decreasing the out of pocket costs of the patient.
