Dr. Ben Bagge, PT, DPT, CSCS specializes in bridging the gap between rehabilitation and sports performance by providing performance based physical therapy that allows athletes and active individuals to get back to activities they love while avoiding injections, pain medication, and surgery. Ben is a physical therapist, certified strength and conditioning specialist, and also a USA weightlifting coach. Ben received his bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from the University of Northern Iowa where he then went on to receive his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Clarke University in Dubuque, Iowa. Ben recognized quickly upon entering graduate school for physical therapy that there was, and continues to be, a large gap between rehabilitation and returning to fitness activities.Pro+Kinetix was created to change the landscape of physical therapy by taking a modern, personalized approach. The current trend is that many physical therapy clinics are now requiring their physical therapists to see multiple patients at once. Dr. Ben, the founder, decided he could no longer watch patients slow down their recovery time in large physical therapy "mills". He knew his patient's deserved better and therefore, he founded Pro+Kinetix. The Pro+Kinetix difference: We heal your injury or chronic issue, address the biomechanical root cause, bulletproof your body to prevent recurrence, & allow you to attain your athletic aspirations. We're different because we're BOTH Doctors of Physical Therapy AND Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialists (a requirement for all pro sports trainers). We help active adults & athletes in Oakland and the surrounding Bay Area get back to workouts and sports they enjoy without surgery, stopping activities they love, or relying on pain medication. Pro+Kinetix Utilizes a 3-Step Process: Step 1: Find The Real Cause Of Your Pain We'll take you through a comprehensive biomechanical assessment and identify the cause of your problem. Then, we'll explain what must be done to get you back to full speed and back to the activities you love. Step 2: Fix Your Problem Areas We'll develop a treatment plan that will be tailored specifically to you and your goals. This will ultimately allow us to get you stronger, pain-free, and on track to reach your goals more effectively and efficiently. Step 3: Stay At Peak Performance Once we get you back to exercising pain free, we'll implement strategies to get you performing at an even higher level than you were prior to your injury. We'll also implement strategies to "bulletproof" your body to decrease the likelihood of future injuries occurring.
