Dr. DeFazio was born and raised in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada. He completed his pre-med studies at Brock University in Canada and received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of the State of New York. He graduated with honors in 1988 from Parker University, College of Chiropractic, in Dallas, Texas. He was the Founding Father, Director of Athletics and also served on the Academic Standards Committee. He is a Supervising Doctor for the University of Health Sciences in Los Angeles. Dr. DeFazio currently resides in Los Angeles, California with his wife, Nazli. His hobbies include reading, ice hockey, weight lifting and hiking. Dr. DeFazio is also experienced in treating sports injuries. With that, he has patients that are professional athletes in the NFL, NHL, MLB, and PGA Tour. I've been a patient of Dr. DeFazio's since 2012. A good friend of mine recommended him when I was in search of a great chiropractor. Although the Dr's office is a bit far from where I live, there is no other doctor I trust in my chiropractic care. I came in with severe lower back and hip issues from a prior injury, and through Dr. DeFazio's care and treatment over the years, my back and hip has become stronger and better. I appreciate the time and care that Dr. DeFazio provides each patient. His team, including John and Henk and Gwinn are wonderful as well. If you are looking for a great chiropractic doctor and office, then look I further. I'm a long-time patient and will continue to entrust in Dr. DeFazio's care.
