In 1998 I moved from Ojai to Santa Margarita, Ca where I worked with horses and found my nitch in training Mustangs that were adopted from the BLM. During my time working with these horses I found that trust was the biggest obstacle to overcome. I started to gently massage the horses before beginning the ground work, and discovered the time it took for me to get them from "wild" to saddle broke was greatly reduced and with less resistance. That same year I received my first certification for massage, in Equine and Canine Massage Therapy. After a few years offering massage solely to horses and dogs I received my certification in Massage Therapy ~ for people ~ and started a great massage practice in San Luis Obispo called "The Massage Center". After only two years I received the honor to be voted as one of the Best Massage Therapist in San Luis Obispo, Ca. In 2004 I decided to move back to my hometown of Ojai to raise my daughter and restart my practice.Summer started her Massage career in 1998 when she was a horse trainer specializing in Wild Mustangs. Summer noticed that if she started the training process to include massage therapy with the horses it helped build a strong trust and in turn made training them easier. Summer figured out that the better the massage on the animal, the better they performed! In 2000 she went back to massage school to received her certification as a CMT (for people). Summer's hunger to deliver the best, most relaxing massage imaginable has propelled her to take many massage and health related courses to learn new massage modalities and deepen her knowledge of alternative medicine. She has been awarded, several times, Best Massage Therapist in both San Luis Obispo County and the Ojai Valley. Summer resides not far from her ever growing spa and when she isn't making the world a better place with her MAGIC TOUCH you can find her on her ranch riding horses with her beautiful daughter.
