An amazing experience and an incredible community to be part of. Let me share my story. I used to wake up with terrible panic attacks every morning and night. I was always in fight or flight mode. My therapist recommended this place while continuing our work together, and I am so thankful she did. I never realized how much getting aligned could impact my nervous system, especially my vagus nerve. I learned that the vagus nerve is one of the main nerves connecting your brain to the rest of your body, and it plays a big role in calming your nervous system. I also learned how each part of the spine can affect the body as a whole. When I started, they did a nervous system scan, X-ray, and discussed my treatment plan. The staff are incredibly kind and helpful. Dr. Jaylene went over the results with me, and I felt like I could talk to her for hours about health and deep dives. For my adjustments, I have been working with Dr. Gabriela, and I am so glad to have met her as well. She has such a calming presence and always focuses on breathing techniques before adjusting. I had never been adjusted before and was nervous, especially about my neck, but she made me feel completely comfortable. Now I feel calmer, more at ease, and less reactive to the things that happen throughout my day. I sleep better and no longer experience panic attacks in the morning or at night. I am so grateful for this journey, and seeing these changes within my first month has brought me so much relief and hope for what is ahead. I started receiving treatment during my pregnancy due to debilitating glute pain. This is my first pregnancy, so I have been unsure of what to expect. But from the welcome tour to the in-depth explanations of scans to the maternity-friendly treatment, I have immensely enjoyed receiving treatment at Harmony. Thanks to treatment, I'm back to walking long distances again pain-free, my mood has improved, and I feel better prepared for birth. The staff are also super friendly and helpful. I plan on continuing with Harmony through the postpartum period!
