About

Dr. Heather is native to Nevada City, having graduated from Seven Hills Middle and Nevada Union in 1987. Dr. Heather earned her undergraduate degree in Holistic Healing from San Francisco State University in 1992, and her Doctorate of Chiropractic in 1997. Upon graduation, Dr. Heather was fortunate enough to work at a clinic where many of the SF Giants and 49ers were patients. From there she went on to own several chiropractic clinics in Hawaii and North Carolina. Dr. Heather has fulfilled a 10 year long dream in moving back to Nevada City, and she is thrilled to be of service to her fellow citizens! Dr. Heather is a 75 pound weight loss success story, is a 10-time full marathon (26.2 miles) finisher, she is the director of the Goodspeed Chiropractic Running Club, is a contributing writer for Swell! magazine, and enjoys cooking and photography.Dr. Goodspeed has been practicing chiropractic for 20 years. She is thrilled to have returned to her hometown of Nevada City, and to have opened Goodspeed Chiropractic in November 2014.

We combine low-force chiropractic with muscle therapy to treat acute and chronic pain patterns. Exercise and traction therapies, ergonomic and nutritional education, as well as a variety of other methods are used to help our patients heal quickly and fully.
