If you’re looking for a sports injury specialist who actually listens, cares, and knows exactly how to get you back doing the things you love, go see Colton at FPI. Seriously. Stop scrolling, grab your keys, and go. I came in with two grade-3 ankle ligament tears (yes… not one… TWO… because kickball is far more dangerous than CrossFit. I was stressed, limping, and had an international hiking trip coming up that I thought I’d have to cancel. Enter Colton the ankle whisperer, recovery genius, and quite possibly a part-time wizard, because the results were ridiculous in the best way. From day one, he laid out a clear and personalized rehab plan, complete with mobility work, strength progressions, and targeted treatments that actually made sense. No cookie-cutter rehab here. His knowledge of biomechanics, sports performance, and long-term joint health is next-level. Every session felt purposeful, effective, and tailored to what my body needed that day. His treatment style is a perfect mix of science, skill, and “okay, this might burn a little, but trust me, it works.” Spoiler: it did work. His protocols had me rebuilding stability, gaining strength, and recovering faster than I expected. And through it all, Colton was supportive, encouraging, and legitimately fun to work with. Because of Colton, I ended up going on my trip and completed a full week of hiking with minimal issues. That’s insane considering where I started. His plan didn’t just get me functioning – it got me confident, prepared, and moving without fear. If you’re an athlete, weekend warrior, CrossFitter, runner, hiker, or just someone who wants to get out of pain and back to life, Colton is your guy. He’s knowledgeable, caring, passionate, and 100 percent committed to getting athletes moving again. His attention to detail and genuine care for long-term results make him stand out in a big way. Highly recommend FPI and especially Colton if you want results, education, accountability, and someone who truly knows how to rebuild the body from the ground up (literally… ankles… ground… you get it). Thanks Colton – my ankles and I owe you big time.

I started working with dr colton in october of this year after experiencing an injury to my right upper back, neck, scapular area all the way back in July. I have been dealing with daily discomfort and had all normal imaging thank goodness but it has still been very frustrating to not have specific answers about what is causing the pain. Colton was the only provider ive seen that has been able to help me identify that it is most likely nerve pain not just nerve signalling but the actual nerve itself being compromised. We look at the whiteboard and go over plans, he explains his assessment and shows me all of the anatomical aspects to the issue at hand. Im not there yet, but i know im going to be pain free some day with their help:) they have been absolute blessings! I know that the work im doing with them is going to forever change the way i move and care for my body so that i dont have pain and am not susceptible to injuries in my upper body anymore. They are amazing!!!

Over the course of a few months, Brian became one of the people I’m most grateful for in my entire life (not hyperbole!).
The backstory (no pun intended) - I had been struggling with lower back pain for years, on and off, and never understood or learned how to fix the root cause. Six months ago it culminated in 24/7 pain, and my body froze up completely, like a prisoner in my own body. Enter: Dr. Brian! After a full (free) assessment, it was clear the Colton-Brian duo knew how to help me. I worked with Brian for 24 sessions, and even though I often lost patience with myself, he never lost patience with me. I was often amazed how he knew exactly what I needed, when I needed it, and how to trick my mind into trying things I was mortified of doing. His approach is the perfect balance between genuine care, humor, and a kick under the butt when you need one. If you struggle with chronic or acute pain, or just don’t move quite right, or run into injuries all the time, PLEASE do yourself a favor and invest in your health, mobility, strength, and resilience with FPIs help. Don't wait. They’re so so so so worth it. Consider it like a course, not just a cure. You basically take a tailored movement course, with lots of homework, and knowledge for life. I’m 100% convinced I could not have done this without Brian. And I had tons of fun while doing it! Thank you so much.
