À propos
Dr. Joshua Grahlman, PT, DPT, FAFS earned his doctorate from Columbia with an orthopedic specialty and has treated athletes of all levels, from four-time World Ironman Champion Chrissie Wellington and two Olympians to runners who just want to finish. With a desire to provide the highest caliber of care possible for all, he founded Clutch PT in 2013. Josh stakes his reputation on getting athletes better -- not just most of the time, but every time. Josh has special knowledge of endurance and overhead sports and completed a Fellowship in Applied Functional Science, allowing him to incorporate groundbreaking techniques in his treatments. Josh is also certified in ART and Spinal Manipulation. He has consulted for Triathlete and CBS News, and regularly hosts workshops in NYC. As an athlete himself, Josh relates to his patients' goals and needs. In addition to completing marathons and triathlons, Josh is an avid football, softball and dodgeball player - in case you ever need a sub!Clutch PT + Performance was built for athletes, by athletes. Our vision was to provide an alternative to "PT patient mills" where patients don't receive individual attention in a private setting, and are passed off to aids instead of spending quality time with therapists. At Clutch PT + Performance, patients work one-on-one with a skilled, licensed physical therapist who cares about them and what they're there to accomplish. We customize functional treatments for each of our athletes' rehabilitation, training and performance goals. But more importantly, we get it. We know exactly how badly our patients want to return to training and daily life, and how frustrated they'll be til we get them there. As athletes, we've been there ourselves. We foster a supportive environment of like-minded active individuals and assess our patient athletes as whole people; not just by their muscles and joints. We believe that understanding aids recovery as much as functional rehab.
