What Is Telehealth?
Telehealth appointments allow you to see your provider via secure video from anywhere. They're ideal for follow-ups, consultations, reviewing test results, and conditions that don't require a physical exam.
Technical Requirements
- A device with a camera and microphone (smartphone, tablet, laptop, or desktop)
- A stable internet connection (minimum 5 Mbps recommended)
- A modern web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge)
- A quiet, well-lit, private space
Joining Your Visit
- At the scheduled time, log into your Medximity account.
- Go to Appointments and click Join Telehealth Visit.
- Allow camera and microphone access when prompted by your browser.
- Wait in the virtual waiting room until your provider joins.
Privacy
All telehealth sessions are encrypted and HIPAA-compliant. Sessions are not recorded by default. Your provider's office will inform you if recording is requested for clinical documentation. See our Privacy Policy for details on data handling.
