As a lifelong athlete and advocate for active living, I've always prioritized physical well-being. My passion for sports, from soccer to family activities, fuels my energy and mental health. After studying biomedical ethics and experiencing community-focused medicine in Cuba, I pursued medical school. I earned a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Virginia, played Division 1 soccer, and attended the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. My medical training included a deep dive into Osteopathic Manipulative Therapy, a Family Medicine residency, and a Sports Medicine fellowship. I established Maine's first orthopedic walk-in clinic before founding Leeward Health + Wellness to provide personalized, comprehensive care.Alison S.
