Dr Alreen Day Alfonso is known to many as "Day" and has been in an outpatient physical therapy practice for over 13+ years. Dr Day is an Orthopedic Certified Specialists (OCS) with advanced clinical knowledge, experience, and skills in treating patients with bones and muscles injuries. A Certified Integrated Manual Therapist (CIMT) by profession, she is a trained specialist to assess whole body dysfunction using current evidence-based treatments. She is experienced in the use of muscle energy techniques, myofascial release and advanced joint mobilization and manipulation. She is also a Kinesiotaping certified specialist (CKTP) and a Certified Myofascial Trigger Point physical therapist (CMTPT) Dr Day is also a Certified Dry Needling provider in MD and performs Women's Health Pelvic Floor treatments. Member: American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists (AAOMPT) American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS)The clinic in Columbia, MD just recently opened in May 2016. The owners previously owned AAA Physical Therapy and decided to separate their own practice in order to provide better and more efficient service to their clients.
