Dr Alreen Day Alfonso is known to many as "Day" and has been in an outpatient physical therapy practice for over 13+ years. Dr Day is an Orthopedic Certified Specialists (OCS) with advanced clinical knowledge, experience, and skills in treating patients with bones and muscles injuries. A Certified Integrated Manual Therapist (CIMT) by profession, she is a trained specialist to assess whole body dysfunction using current evidence-based treatments. She is experienced in the use of muscle energy techniques, myofascial release and advanced joint mobilization and manipulation. She is also a Kinesiotaping certified specialist (CKTP) and a Certified Myofascial Trigger Point physical therapist (CMTPT) Dr Day is also a Certified Dry Needling provider in MD and performs Women's Health Pelvic Floor treatments. Member: American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists (AAOMPT) American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS)The clinic in Columbia, MD just recently opened in May 2016.
