Straight out of high school I obtained my X-ray Tech Certification through the Air Force because it was my goal to go into a pre-med field. However, I simply was not quite sure what that consisted of. I began working for a couple of orthopedic surgeons in Selma, Ala (where I am from) as I put myself through undergrad. I then went on to work at the ER dept in Opelika, Alabama while attending Auburn University

Dr.Bearden is amazing. I have degenerative disc disease and have come to him twice in a lot of pain. He’s careful and patient to achieve relief quickly and work to regain your normal routine again without pain.

I would strongly recommend visiting Action Spine & Joint. The staff is so friendly. They take their time with you. The doctor doesn't rush through your visit. Each time I go its like the 1st time. They do not take your business for granted and they really put your health above all else. I went in for back pain and as a bonus Dr. Bearden also focused on my carpal tunnel which I had instant results. No more hands falling asleep or numbness (my back took a little longer to come around). I will say what I appreciate the most is once my body turned the corner he pulled back my visits. It wasn't a money grab, it was truly about getting me back to wellness and for that I am grateful!
