Digital Document Management
DigitalPatientChart includes a forms system where you can create, assign, and track consent documents. Patients sign digitally through their portal, and signed copies are stored in the patient's record with timestamps and audit trails.
Record Retention
Federal and state laws require retaining medical records for specific periods (typically 7–10 years for adults, until age 21 or longer for minors). DigitalPatientChart retains all records for the lifetime of your account. If you close your practice, contact us to discuss record custody requirements.
