While attending East Carolina University, Dr Thacker earned his certification as a paramedic and received a degree as a registered nurse. He worked in multiple disciplines of nursing including, Emergency, Cardiac Intensive Care Unit, Neonatal ICU, Medical ICU, and home health. During this time Dr. Thacker experienced the healing of chiropractic and the benefits of its effects on the nervous system. After this amazing experience Dr. Thacker knew he wanted to become a chiropractor. He strives to help every person achieve their goals of health and wellness through; Chiropractic care, nutritional support, and optimizing the nervous system so the body can function at its full potential.After seeking a degree in criminal justice from Appalachian State University Dr. Thacker enlisted as a third generation United States Marine and upon returning home joined the Army National Guard. While attending East Carolina University, he earned his certification as a paramedic and received a degree as a registered nurse. He worked in multiple disciplines of nursing including, Emergency, Cardiac Intensive Care Unit, Neonatal ICU, Medical ICU, and home health. During this time Dr. Thacker experienced the healing of chiropractic and the benefits of its effects on the nervous system. Dr. Thacker completed his Doctorate of Chiropractic at Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri where he received numerous clinical awards. He also received certification in and still practices traditional and auricular (ear) acupuncture.
