Lynn Peterson, PT, DPT started Synergy Studio in response to the need for holistic physical therapy in Jacksonville. After working in an outpatient orthopedic PT practice for a few years after her graduation she recognized that the practice of treating a patient's diagnosis in accordance with insurance reimbursement rules was a disservice to the patient. Instead, looking at the entire person, building a relationship, teaching them how to improve their movement while decreasing pain all adds up to improved quality of life! This became Lynn's mission, passion, and business.Synergy Studio opened its doors in Avondale November 2000, the only fully equipped pilates studio and the only studio of its kind combining the expertise of physical therapists with the philosophy of Joseph Pilates in Jacksonville at the time.
