Sue Walther, PT, MTC As a physical therapist specializing in Orthopedics and Women's Health for over 30 years, Sue believes patient outcomes are improved with integrating the movement of Pilates with the science of Physical Therapy. This approach keeps the Pilates work safe and maximizes the benefit. Sue received her Polestar Rehabilitation pilates practitioner certification in March 2013. This program emphasizes core control and optimum postural alignment through six basic principles. Sue received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Montana and her Manual Therapy Certification from the University of St. Augustine, Florida. She received her Pilates Certification in 2006 by master teacher Elizabeth Boswell Jones. Sue has two daughters and is married to Steve Walther, a principal at ALSC Architects.We started in October 2006 in an 850 square foot studio. We soon needed a larger space, and we are now in a 2100 square foot location in the Ben Burr Buidling at 5915 S. Regal, which opened November 2010. Owner Sue Walther is a Certified Physical Therapist whose philosopy is to promote intelligent movement employing scientific principles. All of our instructors are Polestar Trained and employ a whole body approach to rehab and fitness. We offer mat and equipment classes, in private, semi-private and group settings. We are proud to be a Polestar Pilates Teacher Training Site and will be offering a new teacher training class in January of 2014 (check out our "For Professionals" Tab for dates and times of classes). We also have programs for all age groups and performance levels, including preventative programs for young atheletes.
