In Interventional Orthopedics Dr. Patel uses a range of orthobiologic treatments, including platelet rich plasma (PRP), bone marrow stem cells, and platelet growth factors (PL) to treat arthritis, ligament or tendon injuries, degenerative disc disease, sciatica, and other orthopedic conditions. His goal is to get you back to a higher level of function with less pain. We are able to achieve this without using high dose cortisone/ steroid injections and can often keep patients from needing surgery.
