Tyler is a Doctor of Physical Therapy who specializes in Orthopedic Physical Therapy. After completing his rigorous coursework from Duke University, he went on to Stanford University where he was mentored by a Certified Sports and Conditioning Specialist, Orthopedic Certified Specialist, Sports Certified Specialist and Fellow of the American Academy of Manual Physical Therapy. After graduating with his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Duke University, Tyler went on for more training in his Fellowship. Through The American Academy of Manipulative Therapy where he obtained his Dip. of Osteopractic. Through this training, Tyler has acquired elite manual skills and in-depth clinical reasoning needed to treat the community of Scottsdale. Tyler was born in the Midwest where he spent 24 years before PT school. In his free time he enjoys golfing, BJJ, crossfit, hiking, reading, traveling, following the UFC and watching for his favorite sports teams (Packers, Bucks, Blue Devils!).Scottsdale Physical Therapy and Performance was created to change the view of 'traditional therapy' by taking a modern, personalized approach. Dr. Tyler, the founder, decided he could no longer watch patients slow recovery time in large physical therapy "mills". He knew people deserved better and therefore, founded Scottsdale Physical Therapy & Performance. Were different because we work 1-on-1 with you to give you the focus and attention you need to get back to the activities you love without pain. In typically 6-10 weeks, once a week sessions, handled by your Doctor of Physical Therapy, you will be taken to a whole new level.
