Julie is a gifted therapist with over 18 years combined experience in various health care settings, the last 10 of which have been in Private Practice. She earned her BA in Psychology at Emory University in 1993, and her Masters in Physical Therapy from the University of Delaware in 1997. Julie has always recognized the importance of continuing her education through attendance at a variety of seminars and courses. It was during her first seminar on the John Barnes approach to Myofascial Release that a "quantum shift" occurred in her understanding of pain, dysfunction and healing. Since then, Julie has passionately pursued the expansion of her skills and knowledge of Myofascial Release, becoming an "expert" level practioner in this approach. in addition to excellent training and extensive experience, Julie is committed to truly listening to her patients and serving them in partnership to attain their goals.Quantum Therapy, PC was originally established in West Palm Beach, Fl in 2006, and re-opened in Portland in 2009.
