Hi there! I love introducing people to the benefits of acupuncture. They are usually surprised at how painless it is and how much better it makes them feel.I am a Board Certified Acupuncturist and Herbalist licensed in the State of Iowa. I went to school for four years (post-graduate) to learn Traditional Chinese Medicine and acupuncture. My training included over 900 hours of clinical practice in addition to classroom instruction. I graduated from Midwest College of Oriental Medicine in Chicago/Evanston with a Master of Science degree in Oriental Medicine combined with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition. During my clinical experience in Chicago, I assessed and treated a wide variety of ailments and gained valuable experience. After passing the boards and becoming licensed in 2016, I started practicing by renting space from other practitioners. In 2019, I decided to open my own clinic, and here I am! I've been the proud owner of Peaceful Acupuncture since November of 2019.
