Dr. Macri is a graduate of State University of NY at Stony Brook and New York Chiropractic College. Before pursuing Chiropractic as a career, she worked at Stony Brook University Hospital doing research in the Endocrinology department with emphasis on breast and uterine cancer. After graduating NYCC she was an assistant clinic director supervising students during their chiropractic internship. Dr. Macri started private practice in 1985 and has continued to treat and educate patients ever since. In 2012 Macri Wellnes Center opened in Gilbert, finally realizing her dream of a complete wellness center. Dr. Macri's passion for education led her to a position as an adjunct professor at Central Arizona College where she taught Anatomy and Physiology. Currently she continues her passion for education by speaking monthly on KFNX 1100 AM talk radio on The Matter of the Heart.Dr. Macri has been a practicing Chiropractor and educator for over 30 years. It has always been her passion to combine multiple services in one facility to maximize the health benefits that come from utilizing whichever health care options are best for the individual. Just as the body is run by many different systems working in an intricate balance, optimum health is the result of a synergy between mind and body.
