Owner and practitioner of Journey to Wellness, Jennifer Dexheimer, has 24 years of massage experience. She graduated from the Massage Therapy Program at the National University of Health Sciences in 2000, where she has also served as an instructor and researcher for over 16 years. Jennifer volunteers for the Reiki Brigade, providing energy therapy to veterans, first responders, and communities in need. She also supports the mission of the Massage Therapy Foundation, supporting scientific research, education, and community service.Though Jennifer has been a massage therapist for 24 years, she also worked in research and education for many years. As a massage therapist, she has practiced in a variety of medical, athletic, spa, and mobile settings over the years. She officially opened her first solo office in 2017 in Addison, IL. In 2020, she decided to move her office to a solo suite inside the Medcoa medical buildings in Hoffman Estates, IL. She is excited to be working within this new community and hopes to continue to use her expertise to help with pain, tension, stress relief, and other related wellness goals.
