Garrett McLaughlin received a bachelors in athletic training/sports medicine from Quinnipiac University, and a masters in physical education: sports and fitness from Florida International University. In addition to a strong educational background, Garrett has completed several internships with: University of Maryland Sports Medicine, NC State Sports Medicine, and Florida International University Sports Medicine 2-year Graduate Assistantship. He has covered several prestigious sporting events providing athletic training services such as: the Boston Marathon, USTA Dunlop Orange Bowl, and Michigan's Canton Youth Soccer Cup. In 2011, Garrett became a certified strength & conditioning specialist and started working in the fitness industry. He supplements his fitness programs with his strong hands-on skills to provide top quality, individualized, training programs. Garrett is also a Certified Active Release Techniques Provider to quickly and effectively treat soft-tissue injury.Garrett Mclaughlin stepped foot in the private fitness industry in 2012. With his background in sports medicine and orthopedics, he noticed a gap in the industry where even healthy clients would benefit from a thorough coach/provider that can thoroughly evaluate and care for them regardless of goals. This has proved valuable as he continues to raise the standard for functional training and coaching by applying a more detailed look at biomechanics, movement analysis, and corrective programming.
