In 1990, Dr. Gallagher, an avid tennis player, suffered a back injury that prevented him from playing tennis. "I could hit my ground stokes fine but serving and hitting overheads were impossible due to severe pain." I went the medical route and felt better with medications but eventually they wore off and the pain returned. That's when I first visited a chiropractor. I am very analytical and seeing the x-rays along with the doctor's explanation just made sense." The chiropractic worked and Dr. Gallagher was soon back on the court. That was a life changer as soon after that he decided to stop working as a Systems Analyst at a large telecommunications company in Dallas, TX and move to Davenport, Iowa to go to chiropractic school. The rest is history and now he is treating patients with back and neck pain and a multitude of conditions with chiropractic and a number of other modalities like physical therapy, traction, laser, orthotics, exercise, vibrations plates, and nutrition.Dr. Gallagher is a graduate of Purdue University and Palmer College of Chiropractic (Cum Laude). Licensed in NC and SC, Dr. Gallagher is a Diplomate of the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and a Member of the North Carolina Chiropractic Association. As a Board Certified Chiropractic Physician, Dr. Gallagher's experience has taught him that the same technique is not appropriate for everyone.
