Dr. Tyler believes chiropractic care provides an integral health care service to target the root problem and empower others to take charge of their health. Tyler has a passion for health and looks forward to educating and helping patients of all ages. Dr. Tyler wants you to leave his clinic feeling like "this guy cares." Dr. Tyler utilizes his network of community resources with massage therapists, physical therapists, orthopedic medical doctors, running coaches, personal trainers, and yoga practitioners to best support patient needs. He has been formally trained in Graston Technique, taping methods, activator, soft tissue therapies, diversified technique, and thompson technique.Dr. Tyler Smith was born and raised in Independence, Kansas. He received his B.S. degree in Cellular Biology from the University of Kansas in 2009 and his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree from Cleveland Chiropractic in 2013. Growing up in Independence, KS, Dr. Tyler was very active in tennis and basketball. His love for sports lead him to finding a career to empower and educate patients of all ages to move and feel their best. He has been practicing in the Kansas City area for the past six years with the goal to someday open his own clinic.
