I'm a Licensed Massage Therapist, that has a passion and love to help those in pain and discomfort. I'm constantly trying new techniques to improve my craft to better serve my clients. I take a thorough history of each client to offer a specialized massage just for them.Working at a Nursing Home gave me the opportunity to see what people really need to feel better. The more medicine they took, the more they needed. It seemed that human contact could go along way towards their health and healing. That's when I decided to pursue my career in Massage Therapy. I picked Southern California Health Institute for their history of producing Massage Therapists that really care about their clients, and that's how I am. Specialize in the following massage: 1. Sports Rehabilitation - Injuries from broken bones or muscle spasms or muscle stiffness, massage can offer faster recovery. With the pressure of the therapists hands improving blood flow, muscles become warmer. Massage can help flush out swelling in joints to aid in faster healing. 2. Trigger point therapy - Doing everyday movements it can irritate tissue, which over time can lead to the development of trigger points. Unfortunately, when tissues remain in a contracted state for long periods of time, they can harden and create little nodules(small knot in muscles) that therapists can actually feel for during your massage. When these trigger points are addressed and the tension is released, clients can feel instant relief. 3. Stretching - To increase circulation of blood flow to overactive muscles. It also increases your flexibility and range of motion. Having a therapist stretch your tissues that could not be stretched in the usual methods can release tension or pressure build-up.
