Lisa has 30 years of experience as a physical therapist, and is the owner of Downtown SportFit Rehab and Training. She has been working with professional athletes since 1993, and has traveled the US and several countries educating other health professionals in the field of sports medicine and orthopedic rehab. She has a Master's Degree in Exercise Physiology, is fellowship trained in Sports Medicine, is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and Certified in Active Release Technique. She also owns and operates SportFit Rehab and Training, a private pay/private treatment clinic also located in downtown Miami. In her free time Lisa enjoys cycling, sailing, diving, community work, and family.Downtown SportFit Rehab and Training has been the premier provider of physical therapy services in Downtown Miami for the past ten years. We have worked with world class professional athletes such as Mike Piazza, Lauryn Williams, the Florida Marlins, as well as high school, collegiate athletes, and "weekend warriors". Every patient has their own unique story and specific needs, and we have a staff with extremely extensive education in a variety of areas so we can help meet patient goals effectively. We are located in a 35,000 sq foot fitness center, and have access to equipment that will help transition our patients back to an active life.
