Originally from Minnesota, Dr. Jason Crist first discovered chiropractic when he was told he would need back surgery from an injury suffered while training to win the Mr. Minnesota Teen Natural Bodybuilding Competition. Not wanting to go through this invasive procedure nor its lengthy and painful recovery, he sought chiropractic care and got unbelievable results. Not only did he avoid surgery and receive complete healing, but he also discovered his passion for natural, holistic care and decided to pursue his Doctorate of Chiropractic.At age 19, Dr. Crist injured himself while lifting weights that left him with two different options: suffer through back pain for the rest of his life or have surgery. Since neither of those options sounded appealing to him, he consulted with his mother who recommended chiropractic care. Chiropractic care changed his life when nothing else seemed to help. After his 5th visit to the Chiropractor, Dr. Crist was pain free. It was at that time he knew how he wanted to spend the rest of his life - to help others as he was helped through this amazing new found science and art known as "Chiropractic". After graduating Chiropractic College and spending the first 25 years of his life in Minneapolis, Dr. Crist chose to move to Williamson County in 1995. Crist Chiropractic was established in 1999 and has helped over 14,000 patients. In 2011, Dr. Crist was awarded Tennessee Chiropractor of the Year for demonstrating a significant commitment of time and talent to the chiropractic industry.
