Phillip B. McMillan is a registered nurse and CEO of American River Healthcare, which includes Home Health, Non-Medical, Hospice and Home Infusion Pharmacy Services. Phillip founded American River Home Care in 2014 with the vision of providing quality care and employing quality clinicians. American River Home Care started as a small company, and in just 8 years the organization has grown to employ over 245 individuals and has provided services to over 25,000 patients. Phillip spent 7 years as a nurse in various departments, ranging from Orthopedics to the Emergency Room setting. As a charge nurse in the ER for many years, Phillip was goal oriented and regularly used his leadership and interpersonal relationship skills to successfully run a team of nurses. Phillip recognized a need within the medical community for competent and compassionate care for patients, once discharged home from the hospital. American River Home Care is a locally owned and operated home health agency. We service the Greater Sacramento area Yolo, El Dorado, Placer, and San Joaquin counties.
