Therapy In Action

소개

Therapy In Action began as a small business in 1983 called The Hyland Clinic and shared space with a Karate studio in Van Nuys. Only a few mats and pieces of equipment were available and everything had to be put away each night for the Karate classes. The business started with less than 50 private clients. The first school district contract was secured in 1986. The business grew out of its space and moved to Tarzana in January 1999 and was renamed Therapy In Action. In 2008, a clinic in Newbury Park was opened in partnership with Communication Matters. Over the years, Therapy In Action's specialized programs have evolved and refined in order to meet the needs of the communities it serves. Our therapists have grown too. Some of our therapists who started with us as new graduates are now presenting around the nation about occupational therapy topics. Therapy In Action continues to develop new programs, hire new staff, and flourish as it reaches out to help children and their families.
