TOA is the best for every body. In 1924, our founder, Dr. George Carpenter, Sr., opened the first orthopaedic practice in Nashville. Today, Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance (TOA) is the largest and most respected orthopaedic surgery group in Middle Tennessee. TOA is also one of the largest orthopedic groups in the nation.
