Dr. Bill Porath, D.C.

Before coming here, I was really hesitant on seeing a chiropractor because another chiropractor was trying to get me to pay for a long term plan for care that I didn’t need. When I went to Dr. Porath, he did a body check and told me that I didn't have those problems and sometimes chiropractors would lie to you to get you to pay them a ton of money for their services. I really appreciate how honest he is and how he wants the best for his patients. Dr. Porath then used a massager to massage my back. IT FELT SO GOOD. I was feeling really tight in my joints and after he did my chiropractic adjustment, I literally felt PAIN FREE AND SO GREAT! I come back all the time to get adjustments and feel a HUGE SMILING difference in how I feel. Thank you Dr. Porath!

We were in SD for New Years and I have been struggling with awful neck pain for over two weeks. My husband called Dr. Bill and he was able to get me in. I have never had a “chiropractic” experience like what I had here. You usually go in, get cracked up and then sent on your way…not with Dr. Bill!! He certainly takes his time with you, assess your issue and finds the root of the cause; from there he treats the cause! In my case, it wasn’t that I needed to have my bones cracked…he said it was “soft tissue” that was causing my pain and used his active release technique to help relive the tension. I was amazed and so very happy we met Dr. Bill - he also recommended several dr’s in our area that practice his same technique! Thank you so much Dr. Bill!

His name came up up a Google search. I read the reviews and figured I had nothing to lose. I had already seen over 6 doctors at Kaiser including a neurologist & a orthopedic surgeon. The neurologist had an idea on what was causing the insane pain for over 5 months but nothing definitive. The other Kaiser doctors were totally useless. After explaining to Dr. Bill what happened, approximately 30 minutes of talking back & forth, he nailed it on the button. Still amazed and feel so lucky I found him. He knew were my pain was and what gave me a short relief from the insane pain. Yes, he did say that this is the first time he has seen what happened to me but he figured it out- damn smart dude!!! I have another appointment with Kaiser neurologist on June 27th. I have requested the head of Kaiser neurology call me so we can discuss how poor his department is. Oh, Kaiser even told me I have chronic pain and I will probably have to live like this. If you have a pain or ache, please make an appointment with him ASAP!!!

I came in feeling so discouraged with chronic wrist pain, felt dismissed by the providers from my health insurance, so tired of being told to just take OTC pain medication. I found Synergy through Yelp and booked a consult. Dr. Bill Porath called me the next day, saw me later that week. He was welcoming, helpful with insurance/payment questions, patient, attentive to my case. He explained causes of symptoms, how the treatment works, and what I can do for myself at home. Since then I have felt such improvement in pain/mobility. Even without insurance, he is quite affordable and flexible with scheduling.

I had always been afraid of seeing a chiropractor... the thought of my bones being cracked scared me to death... not sure why... but Dr Bill is an angel on earth. Gentle, thorough, and amazing hands. I walk out of his office feeling like a million bucks. Ive always carried my stress in my neck and shoulders. He taught me how to release that stress in between appointments. I look forward to every visit.. you can't go wrong seeing Dr. Bill. I don't know how I went this long without getting myself aligned and feeling great!
