Welcome! Glad to have you here. I'm here to help you uncover and navigate a space that is often ignored or treated as taboo.  ​ My career in physical therapy traces back to my undergraduate degrees in exercise science and women's, gender, and sexuality studies from Ohio State University. My background in these fields led me to pursue and receive my doctorate in physical therapy from Regis University here in Denver. Working as an orthopedic and pelvic floor physical therapist, I recognized the importance of merging the fields of orthopedics and women's health. This leads to my treatment philosophy of treating the whole person, not just isolated aspects. I recognize that the pelvic floor is not an isolated feature of anatomy, but rather an important part of a system. When one or more parts of a system is not working well, this is often linked to other parts that aren't able to do their jobs well. This includes other body parts as well as general mental, emotional, and physical health. Sage Physical Therapy was established to fill a need for better quality care in the women's health & pelvic floor physical therapy field. At most clinics, you'll be seen for 30 minutes or less, often with someone other than a doctor of physical therapy. At Sage Physical Therapy, we allow enough time for the vulnerable space that is pelvic floor physical therapy by allowing 90 minute evaluations and 55 minute follow-up appointments - always with a doctor of physical therapy. We provide compassionate, evidence-based, individualized care that is specific to you and your goals.
