Dr. Sean is a board certified chiropractor who graduated from the University of Iowa with Bachelor's degree in Biology with a focus in Neuroscience, and went on to earn his Chiropractic degree from National University of Health Sciences. He has had a lifelong passion for sports and human movement and has several years of rehabilitation experience in a PT clinic. After graduation from chiropractic school he spent 3 years in practice in the western suburbs of Chicago focusing on functional movement and postural rehabilitation. A lifelong student, he has enjoyed continuing education centered on Orthopedics, Kinesiotaping, Nutrition, and functional movement among other subjects. Dr. Sean has expertise in chiropractic, rehabilitation, and nutrition which have been invaluable in keeping his patients healthy and pain-free in their day-to-day lives as well as their extra-curricular activities.RESPORT is the premier chiropractic and sports medicine facility which focuses on customized and personalized treatments involving chiropractic care, physical therapy, and sports recovery. Dr. Sean Cooney offers many chiropractic and rehabilitation techniques, including various specific adjustments, therapeutic instrumentation, and wellness services. Each patient who walks through the doors of our facility is treated on a unique, case-by-case basis. This approach gets to the root cause of a condition for effective ways to address issues that have not been resolved with other treatments elsewhere. While we specialize in sports injury and exercise recovery; our facility also provides many other treatments to help patients feel better naturally regardless of their injury or condition.
