Dr. Timothy Clare is a dedicated and caring Chiropractic Physician, who established ProHealth & Wellness Chiropractic in March of 1996. Dr. Clare received his Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Connecticut at Storrs, majoring in Biology, concentrating in Molecular Cell Biology and Biochemistry. He was the president of his class with Magna Cum Laude honors. He is a lifetime member inducted into Who's Who, and was voted Chiropractor of the Year 2000 from the Masters. Dr. Clare has long recognized the need to continually improve his education to benefit his patients. Due to past involvement and enjoyment in sports, Dr. Clare is a Board Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician. Other areas which he has pursued continuing education are radiology, extremity care and management, physiotherapy, disability and impairment ratings, whiplash care and management and spinal rehabilitation.One day a young man playing his senior year of high school football applied a "hit" to another player that left him with severe burning pain that coursed from his neck to his fingertips. Out of despair and love, his mother suggested that he consult her chiropractor. This young student became a chiropractic patient despite the prejudices and negative comments made by his coaching staff. Due to his chiropractic care, he was able to fulfill his dreams of playing college football. This patient's life was completely changed by the care he received from a chiropractor. You see, that young high school football player was me, Dr. Timothy P. Clare! Due to the loving care and attention to my health, and the benefits that I received under chiropractic care; when it came for me to decide which medical profession I would pursue, I knew it had to be chiropractic. That is also the reason why I obtained my Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician degree.
