Dr. Hurst uses a "whole person approach". This approach to wellness means looking for underlying causes of any disturbance or disruption (which may or may not be causing symptoms at the time) and make whatever interventions and lifestyle adjustments that would optimize the conditions for normal function. Using this unique approach. Dr. Hurst graduated from Long Beach State in 1990. He worked in a physical therapy clinic for several years before attending Cleveland Chiropractic College. He received his doctorate in Chiropractic in 2000. Dr. Hurst has focused his practice on family health, nutrition, sports injury and rehabilitation. He is certified by The Titalist Performance Insitute for Golf fitness level one. Dr. Hurst has been associated with working on/with professional athletes, collegiate athletes, club soccer and swim teams. As a former collegiate water polo and swimmer, he understands the time and training that is required of an athlete.Our focus is on rebuilding damaged tissue - not just masking pain with medication. To achieve this we use a combination of the very latest physiotherapy and rehab treatments, chiropractic techniques, nutritional advice and lifestyle modification.
