Dr. Cordero grew up playing sports and being active, he played inline and ice hockey for a combined 16 years. Weight lifting has been a hobby of his for more than 17 years. His education (personal trainer, strength coach, kettlebell instructor, doctor of chiropractic) and experience seeing hundreds of patients with different backgrounds, injuries, ages, and goals, gives his a leg up from most health care professionals who have only had the education or the experience. Dr. Cordero opened his business to help as many people as he can, to change the way pain and injury are currently being treated, and teach patients how to get out of pain by moving smarter.In the early 2004 Dr. Cordero was a personal trainer at Eastlake La Fitness. He began to expand his knowledge by getting his RKC (kettlebell) certification and teaching kettlebell classes at Iron Core, Pacific Coast Kettlebell and a guest instructor at Revolution Fitness. Along Dr. Cordero's journey he became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Olympic Weightlifting certified, Functional Movement Screen certified, and was training and coaching moms, weekend warriors, endurance athletes and high school athletes. He then expanded his education by going to chiropractic school in Whittier Ca. Dr. Cordero has studied and learned from some of the great movement professors, doctors, and coaches. He uses movement and function to treat injuries.
