Dr. Colton Korne was born and raised in Santa Clarita, CA, before obtaining his Bachelor's Degree from California State University, Northridge, graduating on the Dean's List with Honors. He then proceeded to obtain his Doctor of Chiropractic graduating Magna Cum Laude from Southern California University of Health Sciences. Upon graduation, he began working at the prestigious Mamba Sports Academy in Thousand Oaks, CA, where he treated a wide array of patients. His primary emphasis is in Sports Medicine, and he incorporates corrective exercises and other physiotherapies into his treatment to ensure the fastest results and to prevent injuries from happening again.Functional Performance Institute was founded on the principles of Efficient, Effective, Science-Based care to deliver the highest quality of treatment possible to its patients. Our primary goal is to help you get out of pain, then correct the root cause of your condition to keep you out pain and doing what you love most in life. Dr. Korne brings with him the highest level of sports medicine care as he had previously worked as a Chiropractor at Mamba Sports Academy before moving down to San Diego to open his own practice here.
