Functional Health KC is a chiropractic, functional medicine and acupuncture office started in May 2004 by the husband and wife team of Dr. Melinda Griffin and Dr. Michael (Dr. Mike) Griffin. Dr. Melinda and Dr. Mike are from a small town in northern Missouri but have lived in the Kansas City metropolitan area since 1996.

Functional Health KC is a chiropractic, functional medicine and acupuncture office located in Overland Park, KS. Dr. Melinda and Dr. Mike have more than 40 years of combined clinical experience. We specialize in a low force chiropractic technique known as Activator Methods and believe in individualized care. No cookie cutter plans here. Dr. Mike has over 20 years of acupuncture experience and specializes in migraines and pain during pregnancy. Dr. Melinda is trained in functional medicine and focuses on gut, thyroid and hormone health. For functional medicine testing, we utilize tests such as GI Map from Diagnostic Solutions, salivary hormone and adrenal testing from Genova and Doctor's Data as well as ordering conventional blood tests through Quest Diagnostics.
