As a graduate of the New York Institute of Massage in 2007, I have been working as a massage therapist for 8 years. Throughout my career I have completed multiple continuing education courses including Precision Neuromuscular Therapy, Thai Table Massage, and Ashiastsu Oriental Bar Therapy. I returned to school and received my degree in Exercise Physiology from SUNY Buffalo to expand my knowledge of the human body. The coursework exposed me to demanding subjects such as gross anatomy, biomechanics, neuroanatomy and many more that have proven to compliment and enhance my massage therapy experience and skills. The first 7 years of my career were spent working at the Brain and Spine Center in Buffalo, NY. At this comprehensive facility I had the opportunity to work with physicians, neurosurgeons, neurologists, rheumatologists, physical therapists, and chiropractors and the majority of my clientele were doctor referred insurance cases.After graduating from the New York Institute of Massage in 2007, I knew that massage therapy was a time for relaxation but knew it could be so much more. After working closely with physicians and seeing first hand the healing powers of massage, I knew what my specialty would be. Having dealt mostly with medical cases, I have developed a technique of assessment and a process that can help heal many medical conditions. I look forward to working with you and helping your body heal itself.
