Shannon Henne received both her Bachelor of Biology and Masters of Science degrees from North Georgia College & State University. Shannon has extensive Physical Therapy experience in a multitude of settings including acute care, neurological rehab, spinal cord rehab, geriatrics and outpatient orthopedics. She pursued and received a teacher-trainer certificate in Pilates in 2007 and went on to open her own Physical Therapy & Pilates studio in 2010. Shannon finds Pilates to be the most effective way to improve overall function, gain body awareness for injury rehabilitation & prevention, improve posture, balance, flexibility and strength. Shannon combines her evidence-based Physical Therapy knowledge with her Pilates knowledge to develop a comprehensive restorative plan. Since incorporating Pilates into her rehab approach, she has appreciated quicker, more effective results. Pilates is built on the movement theory and when we move better, we are better!We started in 2017 and officially opening in early 2018 to a very cool, chic studio in south Jax Beach.
